Adriana Tokar graduated at Politehnica University of Timisoara, Faculty of Mechanics with a focus on Road Vehicles (2002), Faculty of Civil Engineering with a focus on Building Services (2006) and PhD in in mechanical engineering in 2009. Associate Professor at bachelor’s and master’s programs since 2017 at Politehnica University of Timisoara. At the since 2011. she has been teaching various disciplines in the field of building services engineering (water supply installations, plumbing, combustible natural gas installations, fire extinguishing installations, evaluation of energy consumption of ventilation and air conditioning installations and other ) She is author of more than 200 publications in this area (books and scientific articles) and participated in several grants and research projects. Member of AIIR since 2010 and she is the actual Banat Timisoara Branch president for the term 2025-2029. She is a member of technical committees at the Romanian Standardization Association since 2021 and at the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration since 2020.
Adriana Tokar demonstrates commitment to innovation and research has relevant expertise in the topics: building energy efficiency, the use of renewable energy, recovery of lost energy, reduction of energy consumption and building sustainability.
