By using the website, registering for events, submitting forms, or making payments, you confirm that you comply with the applicable legislation and with these Terms and Conditions.

2.2.

AIIRO and/or Danube ASHRAE Chapter may suspend, restrict, or refuse access to users who breach these Terms and Conditions, provide false or incomplete information, or use the website for unlawful or abusive purposes.

3. Online Services and Sales

3.1.

The services offered through the website may include the sale of event tickets, event registration, and access to information regarding events organized by AIIRO and/or Danube ASHRAE Chapter.

3.2.

Prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency indicated at the time of purchase and include VAT, where applicable. Any additional costs, if applicable, will be shown separately before the order is finalized.

3.3.

All transactions are considered final after payment confirmation by bank card, bank transfer, or any other accepted payment method indicated on the website.

3.4.

Tickets may be nominal. The transfer or resale of tickets without the express consent of the event organizer is prohibited.

3.5.

The event organizer reserves the right to verify the identity of participants at the event entrance, where necessary.

3.6.

Access to an event may be refused if the information provided during registration is incomplete, incorrect, or does not correspond to the participant presenting the ticket.

4. Order Confirmation and Event Access

4.1.

Confirmation of the ticket purchase or event registration will be sent by email after the payment or registration has been processed.

4.2.

The confirmation email, ticket, or registration proof represents valid evidence for participation in the event.

4.3.

AIIRO and/or Danube ASHRAE Chapter cannot guarantee access to an event if the participant provides incomplete, incorrect, or fraudulent information.

4.4.

Events will take place according to the schedule, location, and format published on the website or communicated by the organizer.

4.5.

Any changes regarding the event schedule, venue, format, speakers, or other organizational details will be communicated to participants by email, through the website, or through other official communication channels.

4.6.

Participants are responsible for checking their email and the website for updates related to the event.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1.

Cancellation and refund requests may be submitted within 14 calendar days from the purchase date, except where the service has already been provided or the event is scheduled to take place in less than 14 calendar days.

5.2.

The organizer may refuse a refund in the following cases:

  • the purchase or registration data is incomplete or incorrect;
  • the event has already taken place;
  • the participant has already attended the event;
  • the ticket was transferred or resold without the organizer’s consent;
  • the refund request is submitted after the applicable deadline;
  • other justified reasons communicated by email.

5.3.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, where technically possible, or by bank transfer to an account provided by the participant.

5.4.

Refunds will be processed within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the confirmation of the refund request, subject to the processing times of banks or payment service providers.

5.5.

If an event is cancelled by the organizer, participants will be informed about the available options, which may include refund, transfer to another event, or other alternatives proposed by the organizer.

5.6.

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, purchased tickets may remain valid for the new date, unless otherwise communicated by the organizer.

6. Participant Responsibilities

6.1.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when registering for an event or purchasing tickets.

6.2.

Participants must comply with the event rules, venue rules, safety instructions, and any instructions communicated by the organizer.

6.3.

The organizer reserves the right to refuse access to, or remove from an event, any participant whose behavior is inappropriate, disruptive, unlawful, or harmful to other participants, speakers, partners, staff, or the reputation of the organizer.

6.4.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during events. The organizer is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1.

All materials available on the website or presented during events, including but not limited to texts, images, logos, videos, presentations, PDF materials, graphics, designs, and other content, are protected by intellectual property rights.

7.2.

Copying, reproducing, distributing, publishing, modifying, or using such materials without the express prior consent of AIIRO, Danube ASHRAE Chapter, or the relevant rights holder is prohibited.

7.3.
