Dănuț Tokar graduated at Politehnica University of Timisoara, Faculty of Mechanics with a focus on Mechatronics and Industrial Robots specialization (2004), Faculty of Civil Engineering with a focus on Building Services (2015) and PhD in Civil Engineering and Building Services Engineering, in 2025. Assistant Professor at bachelor’s and master’s programs since 2018 at Politehnica University of Timisoara and he has been teaching various disciplines in the field of building services engineering (Electrical installations, Automations, Combustible natural gas installations, Fire extinguishing installations, Methods and means of energy storage). He is author of more than 60 publications in this area (books and scientific articles) and participated in several grants and research projects. Member of AREL – Romanian Association of Electricians from 2009 and AIIR – Romanian Association of Building Services Engineers since 2023.
Danut Tokar demonstrates commitment to innovation and research has relevant expertise in the topics: energy storage, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and recovery of lost energy.
