Founder and CEO, Mulberry Development
Ovidiu Șandor is an entrepreneur and real estate developer, founder and CEO of Mulberry Development, the company behind the ISHO project in Timișoara, as well as landmark developments such as City Business Centre in Timișoara and The Office in Cluj-Napoca. An engineer by training, he holds a PhD from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Alongside his entrepreneurial work, Ovidiu Șandor has driven important initiatives in education and culture. He is the founder of the British International School of Timișoara, the first international school with a British programme and international curriculum in western Romania, and the founder of the Art Encounters Foundation, one of Romania’s leading independent organisations dedicated to contemporary art. His involvement in these areas reflects a long-term vision for the city’s development, in which investment, education and culture come together to shape the quality of urban life.
