Daniel Muntean graduated from the Politehnica University of Timisoara, Faculty of Civil Engineering with a specialization Building Services Engineering (2013) and is a PhD candidate in the field of Civil Engineering and Building Services Engineering. He has been a university assistant in bachelor’s and master’s programs since 2023 at the Politehnica University of Timisoara. Since 2021, he has been teaching various subjects in the field of construction installation engineering (water supply installations, sanitary installations, natural gas installations, applied informatics, technology and installation in installations, organization and management of installation works and others). He is the author of over 40 publications in this field (scientific articles), organizer and editor of the annual conference series “Building Services for Construction and Environmental Comfort” and has participated in several national and international research projects. AIIR member since 2025 and is the secretary of the Banat Timisoara Branch for the 2025-2029 mandate.
Daniel Muntean demonstrates a commitment to innovation and research, having relevant expertise in the following topics: district heating and cooling, renewable energy use and building sustainability.
