Adrian Mariciuc

Adrian Mariciuc is a senior expert in regional development, European funds and public administration, currently serving as Deputy General Director of the West Regional Development Agency (ADR Vest).

In this role, he coordinates key activities related to the Regional Programme West 2021–2027, regional planning and urban development, as well as the evaluation, selection and contracting of projects financed through European funds.

With more than two decades of experience in regional development and public policy, he has held several senior management positions within ADR Vest and served as State Secretary at the Romanian Ministry of European Funds, where he coordinated the preparation and negotiations with the European Commission for the 2021–2027 programming period under the EU Cohesion Policy, as well as the EEA and Norway Grants.

He is also President of the Tehimpuls Association – Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer and holds a PhD in Economics, a Master’s Degree in Economics and Management of Regional Development, and a Bachelor’s Degree in European Studies and International Relations. His expertise covers regional and urban development, European funding, strategic planning, project evaluation, innovation and cooperation between public authorities, universities, research institutions and the business environment.
