Diana Lemian

Diana Lemian is a PhD student in Indoor Environmental Quality at the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest (UTCB), Romania, where she is developing a digital twin of a multi-instrumented thermal manikin for the assessment of thermal comfort and indoor environmental quality.

Her academic background combines a double-degree master’s in energy efficiency of building services (UTCB–La Rochelle, France) with a bachelor’s in mechatronics and robotics. She is a member of AIIR and an ASHRAE Student Member. In June 2026, she won first place in the HVAC World Student Competition, held in Austin, Texas, during the ASHRAE Annual Conference, representing Europe (REHVA) among finalists from five continents.
