Assoc. Prof. Dr. Z. Haktan KARADENİZ completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, İzmir, Türkiye.
He is currently a faculty member in the Department of Energy Systems Engineering of İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH).
He studies design and development of HVAC systems and components, ventilation and indoor air quality, lab-scale and on-site small-scale wind turbine tests, and CFD analysis of thermal-fluid systems.
He is the author of more than 150 academic/technical papers, and he has been consulting and collaborating with energy, HVAC&R, household appliances, and automotive industry companies on their R&D projects for over 20 years.
He is a member of Turkish Society of HVAC and Sanitary Engineers (TTMD), a member of The Energy Industrialists and Business Association (ENSİA), the director of Wind Energy Research Center of IZTECH (RÜZMER), and the chairman of the board at the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) İzmir Branch.
